Habe Motor und Getriebe komplett überholen lassen. Vorher schaltete mein Diplomat immer so bei 35-40 km/h in den 2. Gang, nach der Überholung bei ca. 45 km/h und jetzt ca. 2000 KM später, freiwillig, erst bei 60 km/h, sei denn ich spiele extrem mit dem Gaspedal und erwische den richtigen Moment den Schaltvorgang einzuleiten.

Was kann das sein ? Kann man den Schaltpunkt einstellen ?

Shit, ich hab grad kein Powerglide Manual zur Hand.
Auf die Schnelle hab ich mal untenstehenden Forenbeitrag reinkopiert. Hoffe er hilft Dir weiter.....



Adjustment of the shift lever (manual valve) requires dropping the oil pan and using a special tool, available from Clarks: C5332

The accelerator pedal rod (in the engine compartment) has an adjustable swivel where it attaches to the carburetor cross shaft. Changing the position of this swivel changes the speed at which the trans shifts. Disconnect and turn the swivel so it moves toward the front of the car to raise the shift speed.

The vacuum modulator is not adjustable. It affects shift softness or firmness to match the engine output. It does not change shifting speed.

Vielleicht find ich dann ein besseres Manual. Welches Baujahr ist Dein Powerglide ?

Falls sich bis morgen niemand anderes meldet, dann fahr ich ins Aussenlager wo mein Rephandbuch liegt. Da müsste das Powerglide auf deutsch drinsein.

Lass mal, habe gestern Abend das Auto mal eben auf die Bühne gefahren und so ein paar unschöne Sachen entdeckt. Werde den Wagen wieder zurück in die ehemalige Werkstatt meines Vertrauens bringen und eine riesen Liste mit Reklamationen abarbeiten lassen. Ist echt der Hammer was man sich heute für viel Geld alles bieten lassen soll. Aber das gehört nicht hier hin.

Ganz kurz,

fliege in 3 Stunden nach Malle !!

So, Unterdruckschlauch war porös, Gestänge am Vergaser war nicht richtig eingestellt. Funktionierte alles gut. Gestern letzte Fahrt vorm Urlaub, auch nochmal als Testfahrt vor Frankreich gedacht, und zack, Fahrzeug schaltet nicht mehr richtig nach 80 KM Autobahn, Motor läuft nur noch auf geschätzten 5 Pötten, ruckelt und zuckelt und schäppert und für mich war mal wieder alles Scheiße, diesmal wieder mit Trennungsgedanken verbunden.

Monteur meines Vetrauens angerufen, kam mit Hänger, Huckepack in die Werkstatt und mir war alles egal. Ich hab nur gesagt " In der Karre steckt der Teufel, ich will nicht mehr" !!

Nach 2 Stunden der erlösende Anruf. Diesmal konnte der Diplomat nichts dafür, ein Marder hat sich breit gemacht und 2 Zündkabel und Unterdruckschläuche angefressen.

Also, eine Chance bekommt der Dicke noch !!

Am 22.4. hole ich ihn ab und am 24.4. morgens um 5.45h geht es auf Richtung Elsass.
