Liebe Experten, der von mir in Augenschein genommene Diplomat hat eine Powerglide mit zwei Stufen. Folgender Befund: Der Motor startet sofort. Legt man von P kommend Fahrstufe D oder R ein, so tut sich nichts, auch nicht bei höheren Drehzahlen. "Vorführeffekt ..." so der Verkäufer, mit dem ich mich dann weiter am schönen Brabbeln erfreut habe. Nach drei Minuten noch einmal das gleiche Procedere. Und siehe da: Etwas widerwillig, aber dann doch kommt es zum Kraftschluß und die Powerglide schiebt den Riesen sanft aus der Scheune. Und was sagt Eure Ferndiagnose? Was könnte das sein? Modulator defekt? Fehlt lediglich Getriebeöl (Füllstand konnte ich nicht messen in der Dunkelheit)? Ist es etwas anderes? Vielen Dank für Eure Vermutung und Hinweise! Sorry, da kann ich aktuell niemanden empfehlen. Ich würd mal zu ner Ami-Werkstatt gehen, aber einer die noch Getriebe selber auseinandernimmt und ordentlich alles schön saubermacht. Teile müsste man immer noch bei Summit & Co. bekommen. Wo bist Du eigentlich genau her ? Grüße! tomc

Hallo, das Verhalten deutet erstmal auf viel zu wenig Getriebeöl hin - kann nach dem Auffüllen wieder OK sein. Grundsätzlich würde ich mal von einem Getriebeschaden ausgehen... Andere Frage: Ich hab mir die Dropbox Bilder grad angesehen - Naja. Ist wenigstens der Motor unter all den fremdteilen ein orginaler oder ist das irgendwas ? Meine Meinung: wenn sich am aufgerufenen Preis nicht drastisch was ändert würd ichs lassen... Grüße Georg

Hallo Pit, Öl auffüllen und gut ist es. Dann sollte sie wieder gut laufen. Pumpen und Wandler sind eigentlich unverwüstlich. Lediglich Reiblamellen und Bremsbänder verschleissen. Wenn der Wagen länger steht läuft das Öl aus dem Wandler ins Getriebe und meistens dann nach draussen. Bei mir ist das jedenfalls so - und am Saisonende ist dann alles wieder dicht. Ist der Modulator oder die Unterdruckleitung zu ihm defekt, schaltet das Getriebe bei 35-40 KM/H sofort in die 2. Stufe - egal wieviel "Gas" Du gibts. Gruß Ralph

Ja - wir wurden uns handelseinig Erstzulassung 6/66, Motor wohl überholt (na ja, erst mal sehen) aber leider in einem jämmerlichen, wenn auch nicht hoffnungslosen Zustand. Durchrostungen sind zunächst kene zu sehen, die wurden alle mal behoben. Türen sind etwas mau, aber noch nicht durch, an den üblichen Stellen schon durchgeschweißt. Zur Zeit suche ich noch nach einer Möglichkeit ihn zu transportieren, weil ich selbst keinen Haken am Auto habe. Also wenn jemand Zeit und Gelegenheit hat... Nett ist, daß die Schlappen bereits eingetragen sind - wer weiß, wofür es gut ist. Das Vinyldach ist vor einiger Zeit schon demontiert worden, leider auch die Zierleisten, die noch alle, wenn auch verbogen, vorhanden sind. Ich überlege nun den Wagen so zweifarbig zu lassen. Finde, daß ihm das sehr gut steht. Aber der Farbton ist wohl nicht in der Farbkarte enthalten, oder? Ursprünglich war er wohl sandfarben, was ich persönlich aber zu bieder finde und sich auch mit den Puschen beißt, freut sich Pit an Ralf: Danke für die Info!!! Da kann ich also hoffen.
